Living in a house with small children, stains are bound to end up on clothes NO MATTER how much you try to be proactive. I have tried everything from having my kids change into their “play clothes” just to have the minute they change into “regular” clothes, someone trips with a full glass of juice and outfit is instantly ruined.
I had been looking for an all natural alternative for the clothes that happen to get stains on them without having to use the normal store bought option that had chemicals I didn’t know how to pronounce. After experimenting with different solutions and options, I found a stain remover that works every time on every stain! This easy stain remover works on grease stains, permanent marker, food (even strawberries!), motor oil.. you name it and this will get it out!
Looking for a safe way to remove stains from your favorite clothes? Just place this stain remover on the stain and wash as usual.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 20 drops dōTERRA Lemon essential oil
- 8-ounce glass spray bottle
Directions for Use
- Combine white vinegar and essential oil in glass spray bottle
- Spray the stain thoroughly with the essential oil blend. You can use this to get out old dried stains. Apply dōTERRA Lemon essential oil blend right before you throw it in the washer. If you let the oil sit on there to “pretreat” the stain, you might end up with a bit of yellowing effect so get it immediately into the washer.
- Wash and dry as normal.
